My 8 month old Chihuahua pitbull mix, Nala, loved this chew. She's pretty small at 12.5 pounds and the size was good and perfectly tough. If I were to let her chew this all day, probably last her 2-3 days. Definitely recommend.

Rosie my 2 year old golden retriever loves the tendon chews. The braided or unbraided. Since using these her vet said today that her teeth are beautiful. She had just a tiny amount of plack on her two back teeth, but now it’s all gone since using the tendons and other Savannah products.

These ostrich tendon twists are amazing at removing the plaque on my dog’s teeth. My dogs not only love the taste but they can position them in the very back and chew and their teeth are now pearly white and free from plaque. Amazing!! Cali has found her match with the twisted Ostrich tendon. She is very picky as she will only stay focused on long thin bones and chews. I was very unsure about the Ostrich tendons but decided to it a go. She was very focused and chewing until it was all gone. She was even trying to unbraid it! LOL!! So glad I made a purchase from Savannah Pet. My dog is a little picky about chews-- he completely ignores some of the ones I've gotten him. I was a little tentative to place an order, but I needn't have worried! The first thing we tried was the Tendon Twister-- my dog absolutely loved it. We tried a "Runner" next and he loved that, too. So much so that, when he finished that one, he started barking at me, demanding more! (I've had to put the other Savannah Pet products where he can't see them!) The tendon strips are a great alternative to going for a walk. With temperatures below zero, we cannot go for walks. The tendon strips give them that adrenaline boost.
Sammy has a very sensitive stomache but the ostrich treats don’t cause him any digestive issues. He particularly likes the braid. He carries it around the house as a prized possession. He is 17 lbs so this chew is just the right size for his mouth. He simply Loves these products!

My big boy has food allergies and is a picky eater. Finding the right chew was challenging. The ostrich braided tendon is perfect for him . It is highly digestible, leaves no oily residue, no disagreeable odor and, he loves it.
Ruthamae, "Destroyer of Birds", strikes again. Ostrich hip bone has kept her attention longer than anything I've ever given her and may well keep her busy all day. She loves it, I love how safe it is. Only complaint may come from downstairs neighbors as the sound of her crunching away and banging the bone to the ground all day may not be their favorite thing. Oh well, their tiny yappy dog is smaller than the hip bone 🤔😜😂.
Maximum crunch, my house hippo was overjoyed and unlike other pitties, she's not normally into bones for very long. This however, she happily destroyed every inch of in about 20 minutes. Unlike rawhides or bully sticks, there wasn't a choking risk at the end as it's crunchy.

Shadow loved these chews more than anything I've given her before; she didn't put it down for a second until it was gone! She rejects bully sticks, collagen chews, even pig ears which my former dogs really liked. She also loves her ostrich sausage bites. Total winners!!!

I have 2 border collies that are moderate chewers. My youngest (the red and white) has food sensitivities and in looking for a chew for him I ran across the Ostrich Tendon Twists. Both of my pups love these! They are also easy on my youngest’s tummy! One lasts each of them about 30 minutes.

The only thing I don't like about these is that they have a bad smell like a dead animal. But that might be part of why my dogs absolutely LOVE them! So if you can put up with the smell while your pup eats them, they will thank you for it! I have to say, I am. My dogs loved them so much! And I got one for each of my three dogs, which lasted the whole day. I like that they lasted more than just an hour or two like some chewy treats. Granted, I have 3 chihuahua mixes, but if you watch the video, you will see how much my dogs love them.
