My boy was so excited when we walked to the mailbox to get his gift and he smelled it through the box immediately and began to prance walk. Upon opening it he just went to town, making sure to shoo the cat away… this was his treat! 2 hours in and he was still going.I had to give him a break as I’m sure he would have chewed all night. Usually when the dogs get bones there is an inspection period before diving in. Some bones they eat a little of and walk away. I put the large ostrich cane in front of both of my dogs and they immediately took them and chomped away until all that was left was just a small piece bone. They still go back and lick that nub! Ordered more immediately and now looking at other products to add to their treats!

Murphy loves his bone! He is an aggressive bone chewer and was able to get through half of this one in just about an hour! That’s the only reason for the 4 star rating! He also has a sensitive stomach and this didn’t seem to upset him at all!

I barely put the ostrich cane down in front of my dogs and they dug in! I’ve tried a lot of bones and they eat them but there’s always an inspection before eating. Finley was a bit hesitant at first, being more accustomed to beef bones, but once he tasted this one and realized there was lots to chew on he decided it was good! The only thing I can imagine him being challenged with is the relatively narrow diameter when it comes time to focus on the marrow.
